Marketing Manager

This individual will be responsible for overseeing, developing and executing marketing and public relations efforts for ANdAZ West Hollywood.  Initially, the role will require a focus on the renovation, repositioning and opening of the hotel, and clearly communicating the new brand in the local market.  Responsibilities will include creating and executing the hotel's ongoing annual local marketing plan.  This individual will orchestrate press and events activity with numerous public relations agencies and develop relationships with various strategic marketing partners in entertainment, arts, political, business, and other related communities.  Coordinating engagements and entertaining will be expected responsibilities. This individual will also be responsible for all internal marketing and public relations for the hotel.

Successful candidates will have strong initiative, excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, and a passion for the luxury market.  Experience in the hospitality industry and public relations/marketing communications is preferred, as is solid media relationships with consumer journalists in Los Angeles/Southern California.  Second language skills are preferred.
